## Homework

Homework is assigned weekly. All problems are taken from our textbook, Thomas’ Calculus, 12th edition, by Weir, Maurice, et al. Homework will not be collected, but quiz and exam problems will be based on these assigned problems. ## Quizzes

There are weekly in-class quizzes, consisting of a few problems on topics covered that week. At the end of the quarter, your lowest quiz score is dropped and the average of your remaining scores is worth 25% of your Overall Score.

## Exams

There are two in-class midterm exams and a cumulative final exam. Each midterm exam is worth either 15% or 20% of your Overall Score, depending on whether that exam score is lower or higher than your final exam score, respectively. Your final exam is worth either 35%, 40%, or 45%, depending on whether your final exam score is higher than neither, one, or both midterm exams.

## Accommodations

### Exam 1

• Covering material from Section 5.5, 5.6, and 6.1-6.6.

### Exam 2

• Covering material from Sections 7.1-7.6, 8.1, 9.3, and 9.4.

### Final Exam

• Covering everything we learned this quarter. The exam will be roughly twice as long as a midterm exam, and will break down as follows:

• Exam 1 material: 1/4 of exam
• Exam 2 material: 1/4 of exam
• New material: 1/2 exam
